Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what recent discussions he has had with the Minister for the Cabinet Office on Civil Service pay structures for the appointment of the head of Great British Railways.

Once legislation is in place we will appoint the head of Great British Railways, using an open and fair recruitment process as we do for other Arms- Length Bodies
