Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what assessment he has made with Cabinet colleagues of the impact of the time taken for planning consent to be agreed on introducing depot charging facilities at logistics sites.

The National Planning Policy Framework is clear that as part of promoting sustainable transport development should be designed to enable charging of plug-in and other ultra-low emission vehicles in safe, accessible and convenient locations.
