Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will take steps to provide additional support to the next Governor of Gibraltar in protecting the interests of the people of Gibraltar.

The Government will provide all the support necessary to the next Governor of Gibraltar, as it has to the current Governor, to enable him or her to exercise his or her responsibilities to the full and in the interests of Gibraltar and the people of Gibraltar.
