Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs on (a) the potential impact of the agriculture and land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF) sector emissions reduction targets in the Carbon Budget Delivery Plan on that sector and (b) the ability of the sector to deliver on those targets.

Appendix D of the Carbon Budget Delivery Plan published in March this year sets out sectoral summaries of delivery confidence, looking at carbon reduction policies across different sectors of the economy, including Natural Resources (which includes agriculture and land use).
