Question to the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology:
To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, when she plans to re-open consultation with creative industries on proposals for licensing or exceptions to copyright for text and data mining.
This question was answered on 25th April 2023
The Government has already announced it will work with creative industries and AI developers to develop a code of practice on text and data mining licensing by the Summer.
