Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, if he will take steps to ensure that hon. Members can scrutinise the extent to which electricity suppliers comply with the relevant sustainability criteria of the Renewables Obligation scheme administered by Ofgem.

Ofgem is accountable to Parliament for all of its activities. It regularly reports on delivery of Government schemes, and publishes annual reports. The Renewables Obligation annual reports set out its administration of the scheme and include information on compliance with the sustainability criteria.
