Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what assessment he has made of the accuracy of the statements made by the Turkish Government that the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was either murdered at, or abducted from, the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

We are very concerned by the reports of the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi. These are extremely serious allegations. We are working urgently to establish the facts, both with international partners and the Government of Saudi Arabia.
