The Personal Independence Payment Assessment Guide (PIPAG) for Activity 11 – planning and following journeys – was amended in June 2018 to reflect the Upper Tribunal ruling in MH v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions (PIP): [2016] UKUT 531 (AAC).

The Department engaged with a range of external stakeholders in relation to the change in guidance and formulation of illustrative examples, but it should be noted that all examples are illustrative only and included to aid the correct and consistent application of the policy.
