Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Answer of 22 May 2018 to Question 145350, what the cost of delivering the voter ID pilots and the postal voting pilots at the local government elections in May 2018 was in each local authority area.

The Government is committed to making sure that our electoral system is fit for the future. Vulnerabilities cannot be allowed to undermine the integrity of our democracy.
The accounting process is being completed for the cost of each local authority pilot.
As set out ahead of the pilots, funding for the net additional costs of piloting is provided by the Cabinet Office.
