Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what the cost to the public purse has been of his Department hiring additional staff to cover issues related to the UK leaving the EU.

This information is not available as we do not currently account for costs in a way that disaggregates all staff for European Union Exit and those working on the wider objectives of the Department. The overall costs incurred by the Department on staffing can be found in our annual report and accounts.
