Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 16 July 2018 to Question 163101 on Rolling Stock, if he will list the specific economic benefits.

Passengers will benefit from improvements in rolling stock quality and capacity along with the wider benefits of the employment of many skilled workers dedicated to rolling stock manufacturing, maintenance, and refurbishment and across the industry supply chain.
