The Department and Ministers have regular and frequent discussions with rail operators, Network Rail and other rail industry stakeholders about the implementation of the roadmap. This has included asking Sir Peter Hendy to advise on the preparedness of the public transport network to cope with the re-opening of schools on 8 March 2021.
