Asylum: Homelessness

Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 16 February 2021 to Question 151819 on Asylum: Homelessness, how (a) homeless and (b) other asylum-seeking persons are made aware that they can obtain support through contact with her Department.

All asylum seekers are advised at the time they register their asylum claims that support is available from the Home Office if they would otherwise be destitute.
