In-line with nationally recognised best practice, victims of sexual offences are taken to Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) for the collection of forensic evidence. Service Police undertake specialist forensic training at civilian police facilities, and improvements introduced by civilian counterparts are adopted by Service Justice System.
