Council Regulation No. 236/2014 on the common rules and procedures for the EU’s Instruments for financing External Action applies to the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (established under Council Regulation No 235/2014). The Common Implementing Regulation sets no nationality requirement to be eligible for funding under the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights. Non-governmental organisations should be unaffected by UK Exit both during the Implementation Period and after the UK has left the EU.
