Government officials discuss issues regularly with Royal Mail and met them to discuss options for delivery of Poll Cards on 9 March along with print suppliers, electoral administrators and representatives from the Electoral Commission and the Association of Electoral Administrators. Officials also met with Royal Mail, the Electoral Commission and the Association of Electoral Administrators on 22 May for a further meeting on this subject ahead of a notice going out via the Electoral Commission and the Association of Electoral Administrators and the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives about changes being introduced by Royal Mail.
