Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether his Department has made a comparative assessment of the adequacy of national electoral registers used by (a) EU and (b) other countries in relation to the introduction of a centralised, national electoral register in the UK.

The Government has not made a comparative assessment of other countries’ electoral registers. We have no plans to introduce a centralised, national electoral register in the UK.
