Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will make it his policy not to implement any changes to immunisation programmes which the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation predicts would result in an increase in cases of infectious disease.

Each decision about the immunisation programme needs to be considered on its own merits taking into account all the relevant information. A blanket policy would not be appropriate.
