Large Goods Vehicles: Weight Limits

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether he plans to conduct an assessment of the effect of not permitting mobile batching concrete plants to continue to operate outside standard legal gross vehicle weight limits on (a) the economy and (b) businesses.
This question was answered on 4th June 2018
The Department does not in general conduct impact assessments on the application of existing legal requirements, and has no plans to do so in this case.
