Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he is taking to increase the number of new NHS consultant posts dedicated to neuro-oncology.

The General Medical Council does not recognise neuro-oncology as a specialty or sub-specialty and we do not hold information centrally on any plans to increase the number of consultant posts dedicated to neuro-oncology.
