Universal Credit is an in-work benefit that supports claimants of all ages, and through our Plan for Jobs, DWP also provides a range of support which can be accessed by people aged 25-30, including the Job Finding Support Service(JFS), Job Entry Targeted Support(JETS), and Sector-Based Work Academy Programmes(SWAPS). The Restart programme will also be available for people who are long term unemployed later this year.

The Department regularly publishes statistics on the Alternative Claimant Count, and these are available by age and local authority and constituency here: https://stat-xplore.dwp.gov.uk/
