The Government’s guidance is that no work should be carried out in the home of someone who is clinically extremely vulnerable if the individual has been asked to shield.

During the current period of national lockdown all clinically extremely vulnerable people are advised to shield, therefore no work should be undertaken in their homes unless it is to remedy a direct risk to the safety of the household or to the public. If it is necessary to enter the property particular care should be taken to follow social distancing and hygiene guidance and avoid any face-to-face contact.
