Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many instances of heat-related speed restrictions on the rail network occurred in each of the last five years.

Network Rail has recorded the following number of daily incidents of “Critical Rail Temperature speed-restriction incidents” as follows:
