Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the cost to the public purse was of the administrative error that resulted in personalised envelopes and communications being sent to people in Garthdee and Ferryhill in Scotland on work due to take place in Calvert in Buckinghamshire.

I can confirm that there will be no cost incurred by the taxpayer as a result of this error. The supplier responsible for distributing notifications will cover the cost of the original erroneous correspondence.
