Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, what funding her Department has made available for commercial self-driving (a) passenger and (b) freight services.

The Government has allocated £66 million R&D funding to the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles to pilot commercially sustainable deployments of self-driving passenger and freight services and support a growing, UK-based supply chain.
