Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many cases of hepatitis C there have been in the UK in each year since 2010.

Public Health England receives laboratory reports of hepatitis C cases from England and Wales; these reports are presented by year in the following tables. Data for the combined laboratory reports for England and Wales are available from 2013 and published in the Quarterly laboratory-confirmed hepatitis A virus and hepatitis C reports in England and Wales, available to view at the following link:
