Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what estimate he has made of the amount of additional tax landlords will pay as a result of changes to the tax treatment of mortgage interest.

The most recent estimate for the fiscal impact of the changes to the tax treatment of mortgage interest for individual landlords was published in Table 2.2 at the time of Autumn Budget 2017.
