Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the removal of country policy and information notes on Ukraine from the gov.uk website on 24 February 2022, when her Department plans to to publish updated guidance on claiming asylum from that country.

We removed our country policy and information notes (CPINs) for Ukraine from GOV.UK on 24 February following the invasion by Russian armed forces as the CPINs no longer fully reflected the situation on the ground.

We will release updated CPINs shortly.
