Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the effectiveness of his Department’s work to reduce smoking since the dissolution of Public Health England.
This question was answered on 7th February 2023
All tobacco control functions and resources from former Public Health England have been transferred to the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities within the Department. No assessment has been made.
