NHS England has a legal duty to commission National Health Service dental services to meet the needs of the local population.

NHS England (Yorkshire and the Humber) has been reviewing how it can improve access to NHS dentists across the region, prioritising areas where access is particularly difficult. It hopes to be in a position to formally announce final details soon.
