Crimes of Violence: Transgender People

Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many violent offences were committed against transgender women in each year since 2018.
This question was answered on 7th February 2023
Information on characteristics of victims of offences is not centrally recorded in the Court Proceedings Database held by the Ministry of Justice and to obtain it would involve a manual interrogation of court records which would result in disproportionate cost to the department.
