Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, pursuant to the Answer of 28 March 2018 to Question 133664 on Syria: Overseas Aid, what support the UK has provided (a) directly and (b) indirectly, to Ahrar al-Sham.

The UK has not provided any support to Ahrar al-Sham. The Department For International Development and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have extensive controls in place to ensure that our aid and project support reaches only those for whom it is intended.
