Information on the UK’s resident population is a matter for the Office for National Statistics. The Home Office does not publish estimates on the number of rejected asylum seekers currently in the UK.

The Home Office does publish quarterly breakdowns of the number of asylum applications that were rejected at initial decision, in table as_01_q (asylum, volume 1) of the quarterly Immigration Statistics release. However, data are based on initial decision and some will be overturned following appeal.
