Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the impact of the rise in energy prices on care providers.
This question was answered on 10th March 2022
No specific assessment has been made. The Local Government Finance Settlement makes available an additional £3.7 billion to councils, an increase of over 4.5% in real terms in 2022/23. This will ensure councils have the resources to deliver key services and respond to pressures facing the adult social care sector.
