Cleaning services to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s (FCO) UK Estate, are provided by Interserve, as part of a facilities management contract. Interserve are responsible for setting rates of pay for their staff and have informed the FCO that they currently pay £9.75 per hour to staff for cleaning the FCO’s London buildings and the National Living Wage at an hourly rate of £7.50 out of London.
