Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many early years teacher trainees who have started an early years teacher qualification have switched to initial teacher training to become a qualified teacher in each year since September 2013.

The number of new entrants to initial teacher training ITT is published in the annual ITT Census, which since 2016/17, has included experimental statistics on the number of trainees starting Early Years ITT programmes.
