Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what assessment he has made of how effectively early years providers are using the early years pupil premium.

As part of the department’s flagship longitudinal Study of Early Education and Development (SEED) we undertook a qualitative study into the experiences of the Early Years Pupil Premium. As part of the 2016 Survey of Childcare and Early Years Providers (SCEYP) the department undertook a separate survey to explore how providers use Early Years Pupil Premium.
