Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, with reference to data by the Higher Education Statistics Agency entitled Higher Education Student Statistics: UK 2021/22, published on 19 January 2023, how many dentistry students completed their training at UK higher education providers in the academic year 2021-22.
The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) collects and publishes statistics on enrolments and qualifications obtained at UK Higher Education Providers (HEPs). The latest statistics refer to the 2021/22 academic year.
The table below shows the number of students that have qualified from their first degree from a UK HEP in a medical related subject, by domicile.
