Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many social care deferred payments were agreed by local authorities in (a) 2016-17 and (b) 2017-18.
This question was answered on 5th March 2018
NHS Digital collects data on deferred payment agreements (DPAs), which is included in its Adult Social Care Activity and Finance report.
The attached table provides the figures for 2016-17 in England:
