Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether Serco has a role in the Loans for Mortgage Interest Regulations 2017.

Serco is an independent service provider contracted by the Department to provide information to claimants in the form of letters, leaflets and telephone calls. Serco are employed solely to provide information to Support for Mortgage Interest (SMI) claimants. The Department for Work and Pensions will issue and manage SMI loans.
