The Department’s staff networks will be holding a number of events and activities throughout the year to mark the centenary. These include celebrating International Women's Day and several events celebrating the centenary itself and the contributions that women have made, and continue to make, to the improvements in the fields of health and social care. In addition to this, the Department is taking part in the civil service suffrage flag relay and will host the flag in Leeds and London.
