Network Rail: Affordable Housing

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what information his Department holds on the number of housing units for rent or sale and designated as affordable housing which have been built by Network Rail or its contractors since 2013; and what the average cost of those units has been.
This question was answered on 26th February 2018
Network Rail itself has not built any housing units for rent or sale, and nor has its contractors.
In relation to land released by Network Rail to sell to developers; having sold the land, Network Rail does not have control over the ratio of affordable housing built.
