Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what the budget was for the employment tribunal service in each year since 2010.

The gross budget for the Employment Tribunal Service in each year since 2010 is as follows:

2010/11 - £60.9m

2011/12 - £62.6m

2012/13 - £58.0m

2103/14 - £53.4m

2014/15 - £50.9m

2015/16 - £51.2m

2016/17 - £41.4m

2017/18 - £45.6m

These figures are for costs only, and exclude fees received and overheads of the tribunal.
