The Government is committed to driving forward export growth and helping UK businesses export to global markets. UK exports to Turkey were £10.0 billion in the 12 months to September 2023, an increase of 18.3% or £1.6 billion in current prices compared to the previous 12 months, making Turkey the UK’s 22nd largest export market.

In January, a review of the Technical Barriers to Trade chapter of our Free Trade Agreement with Turkey was concluded, which will facilitate goods trade by reducing or eliminating regulatory barriers.

UK businesses can access DBT’s export support services via Great.gov.uk.
