Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what the sum total of corporation tax paid based on the registered office of companies by parliamentary constituency was in the tax year 2015-16.
The information in respect of the number of returns submitted is not centrally collated and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
The table below sets out the number of companies declaring gross taxable trading profit, the monetary value of gross taxable trading profit, the number of companies with Corporation Tax payable and the monetary value of Corporation Tax payable for 2012-13 to 2015-16. The latest year for which figures are available is 2015-16.
