Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what representations he has made to his Zimbabwean counterpart about human rights abuses in the Zimbabwean diamond industry.

Former Minister for Africa, Rory Stewart, met with President Mnangagwa on 24 November and discussed, amongst other things, the importance of respect for human rights. Along with the international community, we will continue to monitor the action of the new administration.
