Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, whether it is his Department's policy that provisions on trade in services in any existing EU free trade agreements that are transitioned after the UK leaves the EU will be governed by EU regulations.

Our aim is to replicate as far as possible the effects of existing trade arrangements with other countries after the UK leaves the EU. We are engaging with our trading partners to agree how best to achieve this continuity, including in relation to any implementation.
