Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, how many planning inspectorate decisions there were in each of the last 10 years for which figures are available; and what proportion of those decision were found in favour of the applicant.

The total number of decisions issued in the financial years between 2007/08 and 2016/17 range from 16,718 in 2012/13 to 26,063 in 2008/09. The proportion of these that are allowed has remained steady at 32-34 per cent.
