Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, if he will enable other youth programmes to make use of the control group of non-National Citizen Service (NCS) participants secured for the annual independent evaluation of the NCS programme.

DCMS has not received any requests to use participant data held for evaluations of the NCS programme this data and has no plans to release the data at this time.

Separately, we are working with the Centre for Youth Impact to consider what more could be done to strengthen the collective evidence base for youth provision.
