Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many prescriptions for (a) benzodiazepines, (b) z drugs and (c) antidepressants were issued in the last year.

The information is not available for the year requested. 2017 Prescription Cost Analysis (PCA) data will be available in March 2018. Data for 2016 is shown in the table below.
